While I am no Biblical scholar, this book is pretty interesting. It details, in a logical and factual manner, within a historical context, events surrounding the writings of the Gospels, and the life and times of Jesus and his predecessors and followers, and the evolution of Christianity.

I won this in a Goodread giveaway for a honest review. Interesting book, text book size so think about getting a kindle etc version if you can, but worth reading in paperback anyway of not.

This book asks the questions you've been wondering about if you've read the gospels. Yes, there are huge discrepancies, noted by many writers nowadays.
